Getting Around

Travelling in and around the Burlington area is simple and residents can easily access surrounding areas in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). The city is bike-friendly, offers public transportation via buses operated by Burlington Transit, and has connections with GO Transit including three stations located within the city. Via Rail also operates a stop in the west end of the city.

For those with a vehicle, both the 407 highway and the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) run through the city. Located within a one-hour drive is the U.S. border as well as three international airports.
